Take Two Storytelling: One Year Anniversary Show!

Come join us for our one year anniversary show, full of some of our favorite storytellers! $5 suggested, no one turned away for lack of funds. Co-hosted by Harvey Katz and Elana Lancaster.

This month's amazing performers:

Ben Lillie is a high-energy particle physicist who left the ivory tower for the wilds of New York's theater district. He has a B.A. in physics from Reed College, a Ph.D. in theoretical physics from Stanford University, and a Certificate in improv comedy from the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater. He is the founder of Caveat, an event space dedicated to intellectual nightlife opening soon. He is also co-founder of The Story Collider, where people are invited to tell stories of their personal experience of science, is a Moth StorySLAM champion, and was a writer and contributing editor for TED.com.

Cecilia Gentili: Originally from Argentina, Cecilia was contributor to TransBodies,Trans Selves and is a board member at TransLatina Network! Between the good times and the bad, she has stories that will melt your heart and make you laugh until you cry. 

Gastor Almonte: Gastor can currently be seen hosting Stoops2Stages, an interview series podcast featuring some of his favorite musicians, comedians and artist. He is a seasoned storyteller and one of the new faces of comedy. http://gastoralmonte.com/

Mark Lamb: Hailing originally from Sturgis, Kentucky, Mark comes from a long line of storytellers. He now resides in New York City where his work as a choreographer and performer has been recognized by the New York Times as "quietly celebratory" "gently charming" and "expression of communal joy". Mark is a Grand Slam champion at the Peabody Award winning Moth storytelling series.

Drae Cambell: Host and Producer or Tell, a monthly queer storytelling event. Drae has an eclectic career as an EMCEE, comedian, director, actor, storyteller and all around entertainer. Drae is kind, funny, and just the kind of mischievous that leaves with more than a few good stories.
